Shop. Donate. Volunteer.
What is ReStore? We accept donations of new and gently-used items like appliances, furniture, and other items. We then sell back these items to the general public at greatly reduced prices in order to cover Habitat for Humanity’s fundraising administration costs.
This means that not only can you find an amazing deal on things like building materials or home-improvement items, but your shopping helps ensure that every dollar Habitat for Humanity receives goes directly to families in need.
So regardless of whether you’re looking for light fixtures, or a sink for your kitchen, choose the ReStore and get an amazing deal while helping those in need!
Volunteering with ReStore is a fun and meaningful way to get involved with Habitat! What do ReStore volunteers do?
- Help customers find what they need
- Help customers load their purchases into their vehicles
- Stock shelves
- Loading and unloading donated items
- Much more!
ReStore is a fun, unique environment to use your skills, build friendships, and to make our community an even better place to live! Oh – and lunch is on us!
The ReStore Volunteer Team (ReTeam) is comprised of volunteers who want to strengthen the work of Habitat for Humanity through commitment to and involvement with the ReStore. ReTeam members contribute at least two shifts every month.
Volunteering at ReStore helps:
- build homes for local families
- divert tons of materials from the landfills
- provide affordable materials for Edmontonians to improve their homes.
