These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time and from time to time; the date of the most recent changes or revisions will appear on this page. Habitat, through third party services, uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to ensure the integrity and privacy of the personal and credit card information you provide when you make an online donation or register for an event.

Habitat keeps records of all contributions made to Habitat. All information is kept private and confidential, and is stored in a secure location that is accessible only by authorized staff.


You agree that any claim, action, or proceeding arising out of these Terms and Conditions, or your use of the website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, applicable to contracts to be wholly performed therein, and any action based on or alleging a breach of this Agreement must be brought in a provincial or federal court in Alberta, Canada. In addition, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Habitat for Humanity Edmonton Privacy Policy

Habitat for Humanity Edmonton (Habitat) recognizes your right to privacy and pledges to protect that right. We adhere to FOIP (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act), and therefore we do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

When you visit our website, our web server automatically records the domain name and standard information about the operating system and web browser you are using (as provided by your web browser). This information is used for statistical purposes to help us manage our site, but it does not identify you in any way.

We collect personal information about you only if you volunteer in a survey, fill out a volunteer application form, or participate in online registrations, and/or make a donation. We may use this information to contact you for support purposes and to answer questions you submit to our website. All information is kept confidential.

In order to receive electronic information from Habitat you must give us your express consent by signing up for our newsletters online or by requesting in writing or by making your request known when you register as a volunteer.
