Please note: Due to COVID-19, we require volunteers to bring a mask(s), lunch and snacks, and 2 litres of water. For up-to-date information about how Habitat Edmonton is responding to COVID-19, please click here.
Landscaping is currently taking place at our Carter Place development in Edmonton’s Laurel community (southeast Edmonton). If you have already registered as a volunteer with Habitat Edmonton, you can sign up for shifts here. If you would like to register as a Habitat volunteer, you can do so here or contact Monica for more information.
Landscaping with Habitat is just plain fun! You’re out in the sunshine, using rakes, pushing wheelbarrows, laying sod, building and painting fences, watering grass, and digging holes. You experience the joy of watching yards come together for families in our community.
Landscaping days depend on the weather, so please understand that the day may end early or be cancelled if the weather is unsuitable. We ask that all landscaping volunteers bring their own work gloves, water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.
