Habitat for Humanity Edmonton helps families buy affordable homes in communities across northern Alberta

With the help of sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners, we build homes in family-friendly communities and sell them to qualifying families. The Habitat program requires 500 volunteer hours, but there is no down-payment for the home. The family will have affordable monthly payments to bring stability to their housing situation. Families must meet the eligibility requirements to apply to the program. Read about our eligibility requirements

Habitat homes are built using a unique combination of professional trades and Habitat construction staff and volunteers. Construction funding comes from grants, donations, sponsorships, gifts-in-kind materials, and the generosity of companies and individuals.
