Build Site hospitality Hosts
Habitat for Humanity Edmonton requires volunteers to work in hospitality role on our build sites. This role is ideal for those who are comfortable being on a construction site and enjoy meeting new people. We are currently recruiting for Saturdays and occasional Fridays.
Tasks
Site Support
- general duties including tidying the work trailer, tool van, and equipment shed
- supporting the site supervisor by gathering groups of volunteers for tasks, delegating simple tasks
Volunteer Support
- greeting volunteers, answering general questions about Habitat for Humanity and site operations
Safety Observer
- monitor ladder power tool and personal protective equipment usage
- welcome late-arriving volunteers and provide appropriate safety information
- be knowledgeable of who has first aid training, location of first aid kits, safety procedures.
training
Training is required and will be provided.
